The lecture was all about how to make the marker have a sense of feeling while marking the assignment. It was shown that this could be done by playing around with the environment, climate and by creating unique scenes on the island. also the lecture was about trying to create different landscapes in the island rather than just having the island made completely from grass and having different objects

the lecture was all about coming up with ideas of how the island is going to look like and what scenes to put in it to make it sublime and cause a sense of emotion to the marker. it was also about creating something that is unique and creating different types of environment in the island .

the lecture was about real vs unreal objects. the connection between the lecture and my own work i think is to think about what I am going to place in my island and whether its appropriate or not but at the same time try to be creative and create something that will capture the attention and encourage the marker to think.

Lecture and own work

Week 1 lecture was about introducing us to the subject and Russell showed us other peoples work and what to expect from this subject. How it does relate to my work I guess is that I requires us to be creative as much as possible and to put in the time and effort to achieve a high grade.
